I wanted to like this since I love Lush's other products so much, but it was a huge disappointment. My skin felt go greasy afterwards and I had to really scrub with a face cloth to get rid of the oil. As for packaging, it doesn't come with any. I spent extra on a shampoo bar tin to look after it.

I was excited to use this because I heard about it on youtube. I bought two becasue the girl working at Lush said they were discontinuing it :(. They were about $9 each. I really like this product. It seems like its best to use at night to take off your makeup. It got all my makeup off easily and left my face super soft like a baby's! Hence the name. It's gentle and great for eye makeup. It has been helping my skin from getting dry since its winter and cold where I am and that's good. No more peeling! The only thing I would say is this might not be good if you have oily skin just because it leaves kind of a buttery oil feel to the skin. I haven't had a problem but a good alternative would be Philosophy Purity. The packaging isn't good because it doesn't exactly come with any! I keep mine in my Lush bag. Great night time facial cleanser. I will buy more if I get the chance.

I love Baby Face...and so does my boyfriend haha. We both have dry skin, but obviously I'm the one that wears makeup so it's very helpful in that department. What I love about this is, it moisturizes my skin after I'm done washing my face, so sometimes I can skip my moisturizer! I'm pairing this w/Angels On Bare Skin from Lush and my face gets super clean without that stripped feeling. How I use it is I wet my whole face, and run the Baby Face under warm water for the oils to start releasing. Then I rub the bar directly on my face. I rub in circular motions for a couple of minutes then get a hot washcloth to gently take it off. I love how smooth my face feels after, and I havent broken out from this product either!! I recommend this for mainly normal/dry skin. Oily skin may not like this too much. My boyfriend now wants me to buy him his own bar! Will repurchase this!!

I love Baby Face! I have worked it into my night time skincare routine but I took one lippie off because it is not really easy to use as a cleanser. I use it only at night as a makeup remover. I wear a full face of makeup (including waterproof mascara) and this little baby dissolves all of it.
To use I run the bar under warm water until it gets slippery (about 10 sec) then I splash some water on my face before I swipe the bar over my skin to deposit the oil. I then use my hands to gently spread the layer of oil all over my face to dissolve the makeup. I then use a gentle face cleanser to wash most of the oil off my face (Cetaphil or Angels on Bare Skin). After I pat my face semi-dry I go over my skin and closed eyes with a cotton pad to further remove the makeup and most of the baby face oil. I then use the other side of the cotton pad to wipe my face with witch hazel in order to remove all the residual stuff off my face. I then follow with a rich moisturizer that I apply around wrinkle prone areas such as eyes and forehead.
I know it seems like a lot of work but baby face completely and gently takes off all of my makeup. It also leaves my skin feeling soft but not greasy and has not broken me out. I have used it for 2 years without problem but it took me a while to figure it out. It also lasts a really long time so you get your money's worth.

I decided to try Baby Face when I ran out of Ultrabland because it's supposed to be the solid alternative. I find that I need less product and that it's much more gentle. I just swipe some over my eyes and wipe off the residue. I then wash off excess oil with my regular cleanser. Everything comes off really easy, even if it's waterproof. I store it in an old Lush cleanser container when I'm not using it. I highly recommend it!

This is my HG of face cleansers- and I've been using this one for years!
Takes off all makeup- even waterproof mascara- while leaving my face moisturized, not like the tight skin feeling I get with other face cleansers!
Love the nonexistent packaging, and the fact that one bar of this miracle worker lasts me over a month with daily use.
Ladies- if you have dry skin- this one's for you!

I've been using Babyface for a year now and love it! I have combination skin and this really balances it out. Is very gentle and leaves my skin really soft. There's no way I could go back to a face wash after this!
I think some people have trouble using it so here is my routine:
1. Hold under hot running water for a second
2. Rub between my hands to create an oil
3. Spread oil all over face (amazing on waterproof eyeliner!)
4. Rinse with warm water
5. Use toner!!
It is really important to use a toner with this product to ensure you don't leave any residue. I love Lush Tea Tree Water in the summer, and Eau-Rome Water in the winter when my skin is a bit drier.
I also use Lush Angels on Bare Skin a few times a week as a gentle exfoliation.

I use this on my eye area only. I feel that it is effective and gentle. However, I hate this as an all over makeup remover for my whole face. When I rub it all over and try to remove with a hot wash cloth I always feel like there is a layer left sitting on top of my face. For an all over makeup remover I prefer Ultra Bland, which is why I will not repurchase Baby Face.

This cleanser feels lovely to use, it glides over your skin, and it's good to give your face a massage. It seems a thorough cleanser, I used mine with a muslin washcloth. However, my skin did clog a wee bit, and when I applied Lush's Celstial moisturiser afterwards, my skin was quite greasy. However, it has been rather hot in the UK, and it may just be that the climate is too warm at present to use these products together, so I will try the Babyface again when the weather gets colder. I have swapped Babyface for Lush's 9 to 5 new cleanser, which I really love. I bought a round, solid shampoo tin to keep Babyface in, which is perfect.

Ok my only real problem with this product is that it should come witha case or something.
That aside... I love this product it works great as a cleanser BUT my main use for this is to shave! It leaves my skin baby soft and razor burn free. I know it's not meant for this but trust me!!!! It works fantastic.

Perfect makeup remover! I use Herbalism and Dark Angels as my alternating cleansers and specifically use Baby Face to remove the days makeup. I wet it just a little and swipe it around my face (even my eyes) then use a cotton round pad to wipe it away.
Would buy again!

I love this! I don't use it as a cleanser on it's own but like an oil cleanser. I rub it on my face to soften up my makeup and then I use my cleanser on top. I wash everything off with my facial flannel. It works great and I never feel like there is any left over makeup residue. There's no need to use toner. I think it's a great value because you use so little of it that it will last a very long time. I'm sure I will buy it again when I need to.

I've been using babyface for a good year now. I used to use it to remove makeup and dirt in the summertime, or just as a daily cleanser in the winter. It is very oily, but strangely it doesn't break me out at all.
I don't use it for daily cleansing anymore. It's just too expensive for, and it doesn't really cure or relief my eczema. Rather, I use it before I'm going to use a harsh scrub. I really love using sugar scrubs and St. Ives Apricot, and those can be fairly rough. I hate flaky skin, so it's a must for me. And I fear for long-term damage by exfoliating so often. The babyface prior allows for cleaning the face, and leaving a moisturizing layer before the scrub -- in my opinion, it makes up for the crazy exfoliating!
I actually don't have a need for moisturizer after I use babyface (whether it be as a pre-scrub or facial cleanser), but I opt to do so anyways, because I'm anal about that stuff. I would definitely repurchase and recommend to those with dry skin and those who love using exfoliating scrubs daily.

This is absolutely *amazing* for makeup removal. I ran the bar under hot water for a few seconds and then gently rubbed it across my entire face, including over my eyes. Then after massaging it in, I wiped it all off with a hot washcloth. It took off all of my foundation, concealer and mascara. It's way more effective than any of the makeup remover towelettes I have been using that seemed okay, but this is so much better! I then use Fresh Farmacy afterward, because my acne is so problematic that I feel I should also use something a little stronger/medicated, especially at night. I will definitely repurchase!! I love it and just keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't break me out somehow. =(

This leaves my skin incredibly soft...my jaw literally dropped when I felt my face after using this for the first time. I usually use it in the shower at night. I rub the bar onto my hands, massage it into my face, wipe off with a wet washcloth, and follow with Cetaphil. It removes 95% of my eye makeup when I tight line, and all of it when I don't (even when I'm wearing waterproof mascara).

I use this to remove my eye makeup ONLY. I run hot water over the bar, rub it on my fingertips, then rub my fingertips over my eyes and it takes every last trace of my makeup off quite quickly. It does not sting your eyes, and it smells like sweet oranges. I take a washcloth and run hot water over it then wipe my eyes clean. It does not leave an unpleasant residue, unless you want it to. It actually has made the skin around my eyes improve. The only downside to the product is that it melts very easily. it melted allover one of my travel bags once, and it ruined everything it touched :(

This is on my "Top 3 must have Lush products" list!
It's the best cleanser I've found for my skin. I wet my face, rub this all over concentrating on my eyes for the insane amount of eye makeup I wear, and use a warm water and a cloth to remove. It slides off leaving my skin feeling so moisturized and even. I dont use a toner to remove extra, I actually just skip a moisturizer sometimes and leave it on.
I have acne prone skin and this has done wonders for me. My husband uses it too and loves that it's in a bar form. I am in love with this!!!!

Aah, finally one LUSH product I do like. Yes, it is expensive but it's worth it. I generally need a little to get off my eye makeup. And it comes off quickly - I don't have to tug and pull my skin up and down for the mascara or the liner off my water-line to come off.
I like how my skin feels soft after I wash it off. The butter in the cleanser works well! The SA wasn't ready to give me a tin to store this in but I had to insist repeatedly. She gave it to me anyway without charging my extra. I will buy this again happily!

I don't understand why I haven't reviewed this yet. I love this product. LUSH skincare has done wonders for my skin, and this is the first thing I bought, as I was looking for an oil based cleanser that would be gentle on eyes. I use it by warming up my hands first (difficult in the cold, but makes using this so much easier) then I rub the bar in my hands until they are coated in oil,. I then massage this into my face, including my eyes, and wash it off using a hot face cloth or muslin cloth. I think this does leave an oily film, so follow it up with Herbalism, or my new favourite, Aqua Marina. Then follow with tea tree toner and vanishing cream.
I don't consider this a cleanser, it really is a make up remover, and works so much better than the Clinique one I've tried. Bonus points because it's easy to travel with and lasts a very long time!
